Sarah Smalldon Artist

I am an artist and illustrator working in Plymouth, South Devon, for over 10 years with clients like The Box, Plymouth City Council, and the Labour Party, along with many other local businesses. I have illustrated a published book, completed over 500 house portrait commissions and painted murals, cars and ‘for sale’ boards, turning my art into everything from calendars and greetings cards to prints and tea towels. In 2020, I moved from commission based illustration to large scale painting and wall art. Since then, I’ve spent every single day painting pictures and filling sketchbooks. My work has been showcased in various galleries and venues across Devon and Cornwall. You can see what I’m up to here on instagram.

I draw and paint the world around me. More is definitely more! I love colour, patterns and bold illustrative lines, creating fun things to put in your home. And when I’m not in my studio in Stoke, you’ll find me working at Arts University Plymouth. Feel free to contact me here.
